Services
Body-off and body-on restoration, custom and OEM refinish, rust repair and underbody protection, plus structural collision work. All done in-house.
Body-off or body-on restoration on classics, muscle cars, and customs. Sheet metal, panel gaps, bodywork, and refinish stay in this shop from tear-down to final buff.
House of Kolor and PPG basecoat/clear in a downdraft booth. Candy, pearl, flake, or OEM paint-code match with a spray-out card and blend into adjacent panels.
Road salt, brine, and shore air rot frame rails, floor pans, rockers, and crossmembers. We section out perforated metal, weld in repair panels, treat with rust inhibitor, fog cavities, and apply undercoating.
MIG welding, butt and plug welds, and fabricated patch panels when reproduction steel is wrong or unavailable. Floor sections, patch panels, and brackets formed to the car.
Wet-sand, compound, and polish to level clear coat swirls, holograms, and oxidation. Then a ceramic coating over the corrected finish for UV and wash protection.
Cosmetic and structural collision repair. Unibody or full-frame measuring on a Chief rack, pulls to factory spec, OEM or aftermarket parts as the job calls for, then refinish and blend.
We write the estimate, deal with the adjuster, file supplements for hidden damage, and help coordinate rental. You drop the car; we handle the carrier side.
Not sure what the car needs? Bring it by. We inspect it, give it to you straight, and the estimate is free.

From panel refinish to frame-off restoration, the same crew handles metal, body, and paint. One shop on US-9.
Section repair, full restorations, custom paint, and insurance collision work all run through the same bays. No handoff when the job goes past a simple refinish.
Nationally recognized, multi award-winning work in paint, body, and custom metal fabrication. Same process on a show car or a daily driver.
Brine, road salt, and coastal air attack rails, floors, and rockers. We cut to clean metal, weld repair sections, then rust-inhibit and undercoat.
We pull the OEM paint code, mix in-house, shoot a spray-out card, and blend into adjacent panels so the repair does not read as a respray.

The shop
Atlantic Coast Auto Body is on Route 9 in West Creek. Thirty-three-plus years on the Jersey Shore doing classic and muscle restoration, custom and OEM refinish, welding and fabrication, rust repair, undercoating, and collision.
Northeast salt and shore air take out floor pans, rockers, and frame rails. We section, weld, rust-inhibit, undercoat, and paint here. The person who writes the estimate is on the car.

How a job runs
Restoration, custom, and collision jobs follow the same path in the shop. Insurance work uses this sequence too; we handle the carrier when the job is a claim.
Car in the bay or photos if you cannot drive it. We scope metal, structure, and finish, then write a line-item estimate before tear-down.
Document the car as it sits. Panels, underbody, and structure get noted so hidden rust or prior work is on the sheet before welders start.
Section and weld, frame measure and pull if needed, patch panels, filler work, and block-sand. Primer only after the metal and gaps are right.
Epoxy or sealer as the job needs, then House of Kolor or PPG in the downdraft booth. OEM match or custom color, blend, clear, and buff.
Reassembly, alignment check on panels, final detail, and walk-through at pickup. Refinish warranty paperwork goes with the keys.
